NEW YORK, MAY 6—MAY HAVE BEEN SNIPER'S TARGET—Former Romanian Princess Ileana, sister of late King Carol, holds candle on steps of St. Dumitru Romanian Orthodox Church today attending Eastern Orthodox Easter service which was postponed last night because of shooting by sniper. Later, identified by police as Tony Tudorache, fired at hundreds of worshipers outside the church, killing a church warden and wounding five other persons. Shots may have been intended for Ileana or the Church’s anti-communist refugee priest The Very Rev. Florian Galdau. By the Gregorian calendar used by the Eastern Church, today is Easter.
